Effective Date: April 15, 2026

Welcome to Broward Fingerprinting. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or engaging our in-office or mobile services, you (the "Client") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Rendered

Broward Fingerprinting provides professional services, including, but not limited to, Fingerprinting (Live Scan/Ink), Notary Public, Loan Signing, Apostille Processing, Wedding Officiating, Passport Photos, and Document Preparation. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove services at any time without prior notice.

2. Identity Verification & Accuracy

  • Client Responsibility: The Client must provide valid, unexpired, government-issued photo identification as required by Florida law. Failure to provide proper ID at the time of service will result in service refusal and forfeiture of all booking and travel fees.

  • Data Accuracy: The Client certifies that all information provided for document preparation or fingerprinting transmissions is accurate. Broward Fingerprinting is not liable for errors or rejections resulting from inaccurate information provided by the Client.

3. Mobile Service Requirements & Safety

  • Environment: For mobile services, the Client must provide a clean, well-lit, and safe environment. For Live Scan fingerprinting, a flat surface (table/desk) and access to a standard power outlet may be required.

  • Pets & Minors: All pets must be secured in a separate area, and minors must be supervised by the Client at all times during the appointment to ensure the safety of our technicians and equipment.

  • Parking & Access: The Client is responsible for ensuring the technician has access to the location (gate codes, security clearance) and for providing or reimbursing any parking fees (valet, metered, or garage).

  • Right of Refusal: Technicians reserve the right to terminate an appointment immediately if they encounter illegal activity, verbal or physical abuse, or an environment they deem hazardous. In such cases, all fees remain non-refundable.

4. Payment, Cancellations & Travel Fees

  • Travel Fees: Travel fees are earned at the time of departure. If a mobile service cannot be completed because the Client is missing, lacks proper ID, or is unwilling to sign, the travel fee is non-refundable.

  • Cancellations: We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. If a mobile technician is already in transit or arrives at the location and the Client is not present within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the appointment is a "No-Show," and the travel fee is forfeited.

  • Refund Policy: Fees for services rendered (notary acts/fingerprint transmissions) are non-refundable. If our staff makes a clerical error, we will redo the service at no additional cost.

5. Fingerprinting & Biometric Data

  • Transmission & Rejections: We use high-quality Live Scan equipment. However, we cannot guarantee acceptance by government agencies if the Client has "low-quality" prints due to age, occupation, or physical condition.

  • Privacy: We comply with the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA). Biometric data is transmitted securely and is not stored on our local systems longer than is legally or technically required.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Non-Attorney Disclosure: WE ARE NOT ATTORNEYS LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN FLORIDA AND MAY NOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE OR ACCEPT FEES FOR LEGAL ADVICE.

  • Property & Premises Liability: Broward Fingerprinting is not liable for incidental damage to the Client’s property during a mobile appointment. The Client assumes all risk associated with allowing a service provider onto their premises.

  • Third-Party Delays: We are not responsible for background check results, government processing times, or delays caused by third-party couriers (USPS, FedEx).

7. Wedding Officiant Services

The Client is solely responsible for obtaining a valid Florida Marriage License within the legal timeframe and presenting it to the officiant before the ceremony. We cannot perform a ceremony without a valid license in hand.

8. Communications & SMS
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive appointment reminders and service updates via SMS. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
